Product code:
ATC 10
Features:

ATC 10 REFRACTOMETER

ATC Refractometer is a precision refractometer for 0 ... 10 Brix measurement range. These refractometers are small volume and lightweight. Low concentration controls as low as 10 brix are used to measure brix.

Technical Specification:

HOW TO MEASURE?

Take the hand holding the oblique prism of the refractometer tip at the end of the sample, while looking at the light, and while the lid is in the closed position, try to read the value in the measurement table as you visually position the binoculars. If the values you have seen are not clear, you can adjust the sharpness by rotating the adjustment ring immediately above the binoculars and turning the measurement table to the right or left.

Making Zero Adjustment: First open the prism cover and drop 1-2 drops of distilled water on the inclined prism surface and close the cap slowly. So; a thin water layer will remain between the prism surface and the cover. The dark-light color difference image seen around the 0 (zero) line of the measurement chart, if not; For full alignment with the scale chart zero line, rotate the calibration screw with the aid of a screwdriver to ensure that the dark-light differential matches the measurement chart zero line completely.

WHERE IS IT USED?

The materials you can measure with this refractometer; sugar solutions, milk, fruit juice, fruit concentrates, vegetable oil, sugar syrups, jam and molasses.

Measured Ordinary Sugar in Solution (° Bx) Values:

A solution having a weight of 25⁰ Bx of 100 grams in weight; It means 25 grams of sugar. In other words 25 grams of Bx solution weighing 100 grams is 25 grams sugar and 75 grams is water.

Hand-held refractometers are developed for working with sugar related liquids (fruit juices, soft drinks, wine), help monitor and control sugar concentrations in foods and beverages. Whether users are checking the “ripeness” of fruit.
